Biography
Brad Runcie was born and raised in Houston, TX. He attended Westfield High School, and completed his undergrad in Criminal Justice at Sam Houston State University, where he was included on both the President’s and Dean’s list.
Brad then attended St. Mary’s School of Law. During law school in San Antonio, where he was a member of the award-winning Mock Trial Team and was named Outstanding Mock Trial Student. He was given the distinguished honor of being admitted to The Order of Barristers. He also studied abroad in Innsbruck, Austria, under Supreme Court Justices Clarence Thomas and Antonin Scalia when he attended The Institute on World Legal Problems.
While in law school, Brad had the opportunity to learn how to defend complex Federal and State legal issues as a law clerk for the firm Goldstein, Goldstein, & Hilley. After law school Brad became an Assistant District Attorney for the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, where he prosecuted thousands of felony and misdemeanor cases, earning a letter of commendation from the District Attorney through his hard work and dedication in the courtroom.
Brad is enthusiastic to join the fight at the Thiessen Law Firm to ensure that the rights of his clients are never violated, and that every person is given a voice. His patience and understanding of the legal system will help his clients to successfully navigate the toughest times of their lives.
